Robi Hager Pictue


A native from Mexico City, Robi is a Broadway actor, singer and composer who appeared in the original Broadway casts of Spring Awakening, How to Succeed…, Bye Bye Birdie, Doctor Zhivago, and in the national tours of Fun Home and Spring Awakening.


As a composer, he wrote songs “Quiero Soñar” and “Maduros” with friend Alex McCabe, featured in both films Top Five and Can You Ever Forgive Me? Robi is the co-creator of original LGBTQ musical Basic Witches and the composer of new musical Silueta being developed with Power Street Theatre Co. in Philadelphia.


His musical Little Duende received a residency at the Eugene O’Neill Center as part of their 2021 National Music Theatre Conference. It was also presented at the 2021 National Alliance of Musical Theatre festival.

He is a commissioned artist at the Arden Theatre Company in Philadelphia.
